Royal Doani Sidr Honey. Sourced directly from the remote, mountainous highlands of Wadi Do'an in the Hadramout region of Yemen, this top-tier grade honey is a rare and exquisite treasure. Yielded from the nectar of ancient Ziziphus spina-christi (Sidr) trees, it is revered worldwide as an elite functional superfood and a cornerstone of traditional therapeutic medicine.
Not all Sidr honey is created equal. The title "Royal" denotes an elite selection harvested from specific, highly concentrated blooms in the highest mountain regions, often reaching over 1,000 meters above sea level.
In this harsh, elevated, and dry environment, bees feed exclusively on wild Sidr flowers. This isolated ecosystem yields a truly monofloral honey with an exceptionally low moisture content. The result is a honey with a premium color, a remarkably dense texture, and the highest possible concentration of antioxidants, making it highly sought after for its therapeutic benefits.
The Ziziphus spina-christi tree—known locally as سِدر, نَبق, or عَلب—holds profound cultural traditional medicinal practices for thousands of years.
Authentic Sidr honey is exceptionally scarce, and its high value reflects a labor-intensive, time-honored process:
- Fleeting Season: The wild Sidr forests bloom for just 6 to 8 weeks during October and November, naturally limiting the annual harvest.
- Artisanal Beekeeping: Collected by hand using long-standing traditional methods, preserving the purity of the landscape.
- Uncompromised Purity: Extracted without the use of modern machinery or chemical interventions.
Important Note for Our Customers:
· Because our Royal Sidr Honey is kept as close to its natural state as possible, it may contain traces of natural pollen, beeswax, and propolis.
