Myrrh Commiphora Tree Resin
Our Myrrh comes from Hadramout, in the southeastern part of Yemen, and is rich in essential oils lending it a lovely crisp, warm and bitter fragrance.
The name Myrrh is the Arabic word for bitter, Mor. That name was earned thanks to its rich sweetness and bitterness at the same time.
Myrrh is one of the foremost precious commodities in the ancient world. This aromatic substance remains one among the most important components of perfumes and incense up to the current day.
In addition to Frankincense, Myrrh is probably one of the foremost well-known natural resins in the world. Over the centuries, it has been famous for its uses as a medicine, fragrance, and incense. Myrrh has long been considered a treasured value for its many medicinal benefits.
